Workplace and Service Club Challenge
Thank you for your interest in the Victoria Hike for Hospice Workplace and Service Club Challenges. Hike for Hospice is a great way to promote teamwork and community involvement within your business/clubs while raising awareness and funds to support Victoria Hospice end-of-life care.
What is the Hike for Hospice Workplace and Service Club Challenge?
Victoria Hospice is encouraging workplaces and service clubs throughout Greater Victoria to form a team and join us in Hike for Hospice on May 5, 2024. Teams can then send out a challenge to their business competitors or other clubs to form their own team! Compete to see who will be the ultimate fundraising organization and raise the most to support end-of-life care in your community.
The Top Fundraising Team will be awarded the Hike for Hospice Trophy. The trophy will be engraved with your company’s name and given to you to display in your business or community until the next year’s walk.
Hike for Hospice is a great opportunity for your company or club to:
- Encourage teamwork and enhance employee/club morale
- Showcase your community involvement
- Engage with business contacts on a new level
Funds can be raised through a variety of activities including:
- Pledges from family, friends and other supporters
- Corporate grants and donations
- Office fundraising activities - sports pool, bake sale, 50/50, raffle prize draw, auction, bottle drive
Your Team
Hike for Hospice is a fun event for everyone and there are no limits to who can be involved. Your team can be made up of co-workers, their families, clients and friends. It’s a perfect opportunity to get everyone together to enjoy some fresh air and a scenic walk - all for a good cause.
Challenge
How to challenge other offices or service clubs: For your convenience we have prepared a poster form that will allow your team to send a challenge to others with ease. All you need to do is write in your company name and who you are challenging, and then send it off by email to your competitors!
