Welcome to the personal page of Jim Dimmick, Oceanside Hospice Wheelers, Qualicum Beach
Please support my Cycle of Life Tour. This year is especially critical with Covid 19 cancelling most of the fund raising events Hospice relies upon.Oceanside Hospice provides a very important service to our community with counselling, palliative assistance, education, equipment for home care and volunteering. Your tax deductible contribution is greatly appreciated (80% of operating costs are met by donations) and all donations stay in Oceanside.
2020 will be my 5th year on the tour but the ride will be individual and local instead of the 200 km 2 day event. There will be a virtual finishing line on July 20.This year I will ride in memory of all health care workers who lost their lives saving lives of others.
Our 2019 team raised $19500.00 for your Oceanside Hospice. In 2020 so far team Oceanside Hospice Wheelers has raised just under $16000.00 and we hope for at least $20000.00. Donating will give you a chance at winning a tandom sky dive with Island Skydiving. If a 99 year old can do it so can you! Our co-captain Shianne did it last year with her dad and loved every moment.
If you need a bike or know someone who does visit Island Cycle in Parksville and buy the Marin hardtail new mountain bike donated to our team by Marin Cycles. Proceeds to the team, plus get a tax receipt.
Make regular donations here on the tour website - cycleoflifetour.ca. Enter my name and follow the links. A tax receipt is issued on line.
Thank you for helping.
